Emergency? Call 911 in the U.S. or your local emergency number. TeleMedGlobal4U is not an emergency service and does not monitor messages around the clock.

A U.S. doctor, wherever in the world you are.

TeleMedGlobal4U offers secure video visits in general medicine — with specialist expertise in neurology — for patients across the United States and around the world. No waiting rooms, no referrals needed, and the price is confirmed before you pay.

Services

Every service below is delivered one-to-one by secure video. If your concern needs hands-on examination or urgent testing, Dr. Samimi will tell you plainly and help you find the right in-person care.

General Medicine Consultations

A full medical visit for new or ongoing health concerns — the same careful history, review, and plan you would expect in an office, from wherever you are.

  • New symptoms and health questions
  • Ongoing conditions and medication reviews
  • Review of labs and test results
Specialty focus

Neurology Consultations

Specialist evaluation of disorders of the brain, spine, nerves, and muscles — including second opinions on prior workups, imaging, and nerve studies.

  • Headaches and migraine
  • Dizziness, numbness, tingling, and weakness
  • Tremor, memory concerns, and seizure follow-up
  • Nerve and muscle pain; MRI and EMG review

Follow-Up Visits

Shorter, focused visits to check how a treatment is working, review new results, and adjust your plan — so small problems don’t become big ones.

  • Treatment progress checks
  • New lab, imaging, or EMG results
  • Medication adjustments

Prescriptions

When a medication is appropriate, prescriptions are sent electronically to a pharmacy near you. A visit does not guarantee a prescription — that decision is always clinical.

  • New prescriptions when indicated
  • Refills and medication reconciliation
  • Most controlled substances cannot be prescribed by telehealth

Referrals & Care Coordination

When you need hands-on care, testing, or another specialist, we prepare the referral and a clear summary you can hand to any provider, anywhere.

  • Specialist and imaging referrals
  • Visit summaries for your local doctor
  • Help interpreting outside records

Second Opinions

An unhurried, independent review of a diagnosis or treatment plan — especially for neurological conditions, where a second look often changes the plan.

  • Diagnosis and treatment-plan review
  • Imaging and nerve-study interpretation
  • Written summary of recommendations

How it works

Three steps, no surprises. You will always know the fee and the exact appointment time — in your time zone — before you pay anything.

1

Book your visit

Choose a day and time and tell us where you will physically be during the visit — telehealth licensure follows your location, so this step matters. Complete a short intake form about your concern, medications, and history.

2

Pay upfront, securely

The full fee is shown before you confirm and is paid at booking by card through a secure payment link. You will receive an itemized receipt and, after your visit, a superbill you can submit to your insurer.

3

Meet by video

Join from your phone, tablet, or computer at the appointment time. After the visit you receive a written summary, any prescriptions or referrals, and a plan for follow-up.

Before your visit, have ready:

  • A device with a camera and microphone, in a quiet, private place
  • A photo ID matching the patient’s name
  • A list of your current medications and allergies
  • Recent records you want reviewed — labs, MRI or EMG reports

About your doctor

Dr. Fred Samimi is a U.S. physician who founded TeleMedGlobal4U to give patients — at home in the United States or living abroad — direct access to careful, unhurried medical care by video.

His practice combines broad general medicine with a special focus on neurology: disorders of the brain, spine, nerves, and muscles. Patients see him for everything from everyday health concerns and medication reviews to complex neurological questions, second opinions, and interpretation of MRI and nerve-study (EMG) results.

Dr. Samimi believes a telehealth visit should feel like a real doctor’s visit: time to explain what is worrying you, a clear explanation of what it likely is, and a written plan you can act on — including honest guidance when the right answer is in-person care instead.

A fuller biography — education, training, and practice history — will be published here.

Fees & payment

TeleMedGlobal4U is a self-pay practice: simple, transparent pricing with no insurance paperwork and no surprise bills. You may be able to recover some or all of the fee from your insurer using the superbill we provide.

Payment is upfront

The full visit fee is paid when you book, by card through a secure payment link. The exact amount — including any difference between a new-patient, follow-up, and second-opinion visit — is shown in full before you confirm, and your card is never charged a different amount.

Cancellations & refunds

  • Cancel or reschedule 24 hours or more before your visit for a full refund.
  • Inside 24 hours, the fee is generally not refundable, as the time is reserved for you.
  • If we must cancel, you choose a new time or a full refund.
  • If a technical failure on our side prevents the visit, you are never charged for it.

Superbill for insurance

After each visit you receive a superbill — an itemized statement with the diagnosis and procedure codes insurers use. You can submit it to your insurance plan (including many international plans) for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is decided by your plan and is not guaranteed.

Frequently asked questions

Adults seeking general medicine care or evaluation of neurological symptoms and conditions. Telehealth works well for concerns based mainly on your history, records, and results — medication management, headaches, dizziness, numbness, follow-up of known conditions, and second opinions.

Some problems need a hands-on examination or urgent testing. If that is true of yours, Dr. Samimi will say so during the visit and help direct you to appropriate in-person care.

Yes. In the United States, a physician generally must be licensed in the state where the patient is physically located at the time of the visit. That is why booking asks where you will be: your location is checked against Dr. Samimi’s licensure before your appointment is confirmed, and you should join the visit from that location.

Rules for patients located outside the U.S. vary by country. When you book from abroad, tell us the country you will be in so we can confirm the visit can proceed as a medical consultation under the rules that apply there.

Call 911 in the United States, or your local emergency number anywhere else. Do not book a telehealth visit for an emergency. TeleMedGlobal4U cannot respond to emergencies and does not monitor messages continuously.

Call emergency services immediately for symptoms such as chest pain, trouble breathing, sudden weakness or numbness on one side, facial droop, trouble speaking, sudden severe headache, fainting, confusion, or uncontrolled bleeding — these can be signs of stroke, heart attack, or another emergency.

TeleMedGlobal4U is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly; the visit fee is paid upfront by card. After your visit you receive a superbill — an itemized statement with the codes insurers use — which you can submit to your plan for possible out-of-network or international reimbursement. Whether and how much your plan pays is up to the plan.

If you are uninsured or self-pay, you also have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before your visit (see Privacy & Policies).

Yes — international patients are a core part of this practice: expatriates, travelers, students, and anyone who wants a U.S. physician’s evaluation or second opinion. When booking, tell us the country you will be in during the visit so the applicable rules can be confirmed in advance, and have any records you want reviewed (ideally in English) ready to share.

Prescriptions for patients abroad depend on local pharmacy rules; where a U.S. prescription cannot be filled locally, you will receive documentation you can take to a local physician.

The practice schedules in U.S. Pacific Time. Your confirmation always states the appointment in Pacific Time and converted to the local time zone you provide at booking — double-check the local time on your confirmation, especially around daylight-saving changes, and join from the location you booked under.

Visits are conducted in English, and a family member or trusted person is welcome to join your call to help you communicate. Additional languages offered by the practice will be listed here. If language may be a barrier, note it when you book so we can plan accordingly.

Often, yes — when a medication is clinically appropriate, it is prescribed electronically to a pharmacy near you. A prescription is never guaranteed by booking a visit, and some medications cannot be prescribed by telehealth at all: most controlled substances require an in-person relationship under federal and state rules, and antibiotics are prescribed only when medically indicated.

A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera, microphone, and a reasonably stable internet connection; a quiet, private place; your photo ID; a list of your medications and allergies; and any records you want reviewed. Test your connection a few minutes early — if technology fails on our side, you will not be charged for a visit that could not take place.

Privacy & policies

The summaries below explain, in plain language, how your information is handled and the terms your care is provided under. Full documents are provided to every patient before the first visit, and your telehealth consent is confirmed before any visit takes place.

How we use your health information. We use and share your protected health information mainly to treat you, to receive payment for your care, and to run the practice — for example, sending a prescription to your pharmacy, providing a superbill, or coordinating a referral you have asked for. Other uses, such as sharing information for marketing, require your written authorization.

Your rights. You may ask to see or get a copy of your records, request corrections, ask us to limit what we share, request confidential communications (for example, a specific email or phone number only), get a list of certain disclosures, and receive a paper or electronic copy of the full Notice of Privacy Practices at any time.

Our duties. We are required by law to protect the privacy and security of your health information, to tell you promptly if a breach occurs that may have compromised it, and to follow the terms of the notice currently in effect. We will never use or share your information other than as the notice describes unless you tell us in writing that we can.

Questions and complaints. If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may complain to the practice or to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. You will never be penalized or retaliated against for filing a complaint. Privacy Officer contact details to be added.

By booking a visit, you will be asked to confirm your consent to care by telehealth. In plain terms, that consent covers:

  • The visit. Your consultation takes place by live video. Details of your history and examination may be documented, and — only with your permission — another person (such as a family member or interpreter) may join the call.
  • Benefits and limits. Telehealth gives you access to care without travel, but it has limits: the physician cannot perform hands-on examination maneuvers, and some conditions cannot be diagnosed or treated safely by video. If that happens, you will be directed to in-person or urgent care.
  • Technology risks. We use encrypted, healthcare-appropriate video tools, but no system is risk-free: connections can fail, and there is a small risk of unauthorized access despite safeguards. If technology prevents a visit, you will not be charged for a visit that did not occur.
  • Your location matters. You agree to join from the location given at booking and to tell us if it changes, because licensing rules follow your location.
  • Emergencies. Telehealth is not for emergencies. If an emergency arises during a visit, call 911 or your local emergency number.
  • Alternatives. You may decline or withdraw consent and choose in-person care instead at any time; declining telehealth does not affect your right to future care or treatment.

Under the federal No Surprises Act, if you do not have health insurance, or you are not using your insurance for a visit, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your care before the visit takes place.

  • You may request an estimate at any time before booking; because our fees are confirmed in full before you pay, your booking confirmation also states your expected charge.
  • Keep your estimate. If you are billed at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate for a visit, you may be eligible to dispute the bill through the federal patient–provider dispute resolution process.
  • More information is available from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) — search “No Surprises Act patient rights” on cms.gov.

  • Information only. Content on this website is general health information, not medical advice for you personally, and reading it does not create a doctor–patient relationship. A doctor–patient relationship begins only when your visit is confirmed and completed intake is accepted.
  • Not for emergencies. This website and practice messaging are not monitored for emergencies. Call 911 (U.S.) or your local emergency number.
  • Fees and payment. Visits are self-pay and paid in full at booking. Cancellation and refund terms are as stated under Fees & Payment.
  • Accurate information. You agree that the identity, location, history, and other information you provide at booking and during visits is accurate — your safety and the legality of the visit depend on it.
  • Prescribing. Booking a visit never guarantees a prescription or a particular treatment; all clinical decisions rest on the physician’s judgment during your visit.
  • Changes. These terms and the notices above may be updated; the versions in effect at the time of your visit govern that visit. Full legal terms, including governing law and practice entity details, to be added.
